| Our history |
Enzo Poggioni entered the world of restaurants at a very early age, and over the years he has developed his approach with both humility and ever-increasing passion...
Although the "Galileo" started out as a pizzeria, the owners' passion, attention to detail and all-round dedication made it inevitable that the pizzeria would make the leap to fine dining. After more than 20 satisfying years in business, the passion continues unabated. Today, Ristorante Galileo has brand-new premises in one of the most prestigious streets in the historical heart of Pisa (Via San Martino). In addition, the old site in Via Silvestri will remain as a Pizzeria, to be run by the owner's children and by Davide, who are now very much a part of the family business. This seems, to us at least, to be the best way to guarantee a bright future for the restaurant business we have built up.

Our History

On September 20, 1986, under the supervision of his father, Carmelo, Enzo opened the doors of Ristorante Galileo. Cinzia, who grew up in and around restaurant kitchens before earning a diploma in fine arts, soon decided to put her good taste and natural courtesy at the disposal of Enzo's new venture.
